Sharon Tessler


Sharon is a classically trained marketer, researcher, and moderator, having spent 15 years in consumer products marketing and an additional 15 years in biopharmaceutical marketing research. Sharon is known among her clients for providing excellent, consultative client service, using her years
of experience in brand marketing and research to help her clients assess strategic opportunities, build brands, and provide solutions to their business problems.

Sharon has extensive experience in a variety of therapeutic areas (including respiratory, rare disease, oncology, CNS disorders, pain management, dermatology, CV, etc.) and project types, including communication research, market landscaping, patient journeys, and pre-launch exploratory. She enjoys working closely with clients to help address business issues and provide insights to grow their brands. Sharon is a highly experienced research moderator and has conducted qualitative research across a multitude of respondent types, including HCPs, nurses/nurse managers, pharmacists, center directors, and patients/consumers.

Before joining ThinkGen, Sharon led the qualitative team at Luminas, LLC, where she worked closely with various biopharmaceutical clients to launch, position, and assess the performance of their brands. Prior to her years in the pharmaceutical industry, Sharon worked in marketing at several large consumer products companies, including Nabisco, Playtex, and Pillsbury. 

Sharon has an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BA with honors from Penn State University.
