Joe Heins

VICE PRESIDENT

Joe is based in Chicago, Illinois and brings 15 years of experience in primary market research and insights-based consulting to the ThinkGen team. Throughout his career, Joe has excelled in delivering transformational insights to his clients, consulting directly with critical stakeholders to answer their most pressing business questions.

Though his work has covered many different consumer types and therapeutic categories, he has specific expertise in medical devices, imaging, cardiology, surgery, dermatology, and women’s health. He is also an expert at designing and executing complex quantitative methodologies including choice modeling, demand forecasting, brand performance tracking, product optimization, and concept / message testing. His passion for survey optimization and data visualization, along with his knack for developing creative quantitative approaches, ensures even the most complex questions are met with clear, actionable insights.

Prior to joining ThinkGen, Joe held a senior leadership position within Ipsos Healthcare’s Medical Devices & Diagnostics business and was instrumental to its growth and reputation. He has also worked for Synovate and Instar Research.

Joe received both his B.A. in Finance and his M.B.A. from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington – go Vikings!
