Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate will support team members across all levels of the project life cycle, including proposal development, survey development, vendor management, recruitment, presentation development, analysis, project management and client communications and support.

About the Position

Responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables through a rigorous QC/QA process of data, formatting, grammar / spelling

  • Ensure that deliverables are in a “client ready” format prior to senior leadership review
  • Read and interpret cross-tabulations from vendors
  • Develop and understand open-end coding / code lists
  • Understand, integrate and translate multiple data sources (e.g., primary, secondary data)
  • Manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed
  • Interact regularly with established ThinkGen clients, often as a point-of-contact throughout a project
  • Experience (or interest) in moderating telephone and/or in-person interviews is a bonus
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare / market research / consulting space. Previous experience in a Market Research agency is desirable
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative market research techniques / methodologies
  • Strong understanding of data collection and analytical processes
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Capable of working effectively, both independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to develop creative and strategic insights and solutions
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the MS Suite of products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in data processing software a plus (e.g., SPSS, Q)

 Education:

  • BA/BS, preferably in life sciences, business, marketing, or public health
